As headlining sets end each night, the Prize Cart arrives in style rolling to the tune of The Prize Cart Remixes, bearing gifts for those who lend a hand and help keep the site clean. The Prize Cart Remix winners provide the soundtrack for The Prize Cart each night as it rolls out through the festival grounds.
The Prize Cart Remix Plug In Contest was born in 2018 when the String Cheese Incident’s Kyle Hollingsworth wrote the original Prize Cart Theme, meant to alert the Forest Family that The Prize Cart has arrived. Long-time Forest Family member XLP was so inspired by Kyle’s catchy tune, they created their own remix of the theme. Impressed by XLP’s creativity, HQ has hosted the Prize Cart Remix Contest ever since.
